Wanda D. Hu, M.D.
Wanda Hu, M.D. was awarded her medical degree in 2009 from the UCSD School of Medicine. After her Internship in Internal Medicine at Kaiser-Los Angeles Medical Center, she completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the Stein Eye Institute, UCLA.
She then underwent a Clinical Glaucoma Fellowship training at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Hu has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, and research projects that were presented at annual meetings of national ophthalmological organizations.
Dr. Hu specializes in the diagnosis, therapy and surgical intervention of the glaucomas and related disorders.
Her specialty areas are Glaucoma Consultation, Laser and Surgical Management of Glaucoma, Cataract Surgery, and Comprehensive Adult & Adolescent Eye Care.
She is a Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Hu speaks conversational Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Xiaolin (Lynn) Zhang, M.D.
Xiaolin (Lynn) Zhang, M.D. earned her medical degree in 2010 from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She then completed a Transitional Year Internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania and her Ophthalmology Residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. During her final year of Residency, she served as Academic Chief Resident. She returned to the East Coast to pursue a Fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Zhang has given talks and presented posters from research projects at national Ophthalmology conferences. She has also authored multiple peer-reviewed articles regarding corneal diseases.
Dr. Zhang specializes in medical and surgical management of anterior segment related disorders. She is expertly trained to perform refractive, cataract, and corneal surgeries, including the newest partial thickness corneal transplant technique, Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK), for treatment of Fuchs’ Dystrophy.
Dr. Zhang is a Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Cornea Society. She is fluent in Mandarin.
Jaspinder Kalra, O.D.
Dr. Jaspinder Kalra graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in 2010. Dr. Kalra has experience providing post-operative care to cataract, laser vision correction, and minor surgery patients. She performs comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and refractive surgery consultations. She also has certification in the treatment and management of ocular disease with therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA).
Dr. Kalra is fluent in Punjabi and speaks moderate Spanish.
